Job Summary: We are seeking an Orthopedic Physician to serve Veterans at the Chico VA Outpatient Clinic as an office-based orthopedic surgeon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outpatient orthopedic care, including invasive and non-invasive procedures, to scheduled and walk-in patients.
  • Obtain informed consent from patients or guardians before conducting invasive procedures.
  • Manage the delivery of state-of-the-art local outpatient orthopedic care, including consult/referral review, triage, and forwarding/initiating of referrals/consults as clinically indicated.

Requirements:

  • Be a US citizen, green card holder, or visa eligible.
  • Possess a current, full, unrestricted medical license in any state.
  • Hold a board certificate.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range: $347,000-$390,000.
  • Pay for performance up to $15,000 per year.
  • Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) offers up to $200,000 over 5 years, tax-free.
  • Recruitment Incentive with minimum 3-year service obligation.
  • Recruitment/relocation may be authorized for highly qualified candidates.
  • 208 hours (5.2 weeks) paid vacation.
