EPI Power is in search of Electrical Project Superintendents to oversee data center initiatives.

This role necessitates a commitment of six days per week, generally from Monday to Saturday.

The Electrical Project Superintendent plays a crucial role in cultivating a safety-first culture on-site and collaborates closely with the Project Manager to oversee timelines, budgets, and personnel to ensure profitable results. This individual is also responsible for fostering and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors. Typically, this position reports to the senior-most Project Manager on the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the project in alignment with plans, timelines, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Supervise subcontractors and field personnel on-site.
  • Champion project safety in accordance with the Company's Safety Policy.
  • Collaborate with Project Manager(s) to manage project timelines, budgets, and staffing.
  • Develop and sustain the project schedule using scheduling software; prepare two-week look-ahead schedules.
  • Assist in the procurement and selection of major subcontractors.
  • Propose strategies to minimize costs, enhance schedule adherence, reduce project scope, and elevate project quality.
  • Ensure project documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant (including closeout documents, submittals, daily logs, etc.).
  • Review and enforce all contractual terms and obligations.
  • Comply with all company policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A degree related to the industry is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of five years of extensive field and project management experience is essential. Experience in a dynamic environment with a proven track record of successfully leading teams and mentoring others is required. Data Center experience is highly preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents, knowledge of construction methodologies and materials, along with strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities are essential. Candidates must also possess effective time management and project organizational skills.
  • Technology: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Apple products (iPhone & iPad), and the capacity to learn specific software is necessary. Experience with Procore, JDE, and Asta is preferred. Training will be provided on company standards.
