Trios Health is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team. As a key member of our Business Office, you will be responsible for registering and pre-registering patients, performing Admit Discharge and Transfer functions, and providing exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and hospital departments.
Key Responsibilities:- Register and pre-register patients according to policies and procedures established by the Business Office and Hospital.
- Perform Admit Discharge and Transfer functions as required.
- Provide coverage for Switchboard Operator/Cashier as assigned.
- Ensure registration/communication work is done in a manner to promote positive relationships with patients, physicians, hospital departments, and visitors.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of medical office or healthcare experience.
- AA degree from a two-year college (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Medical Insurance: PPO, HRA, HDHP offered through Blue Cross Blue Shield.
- Dental Insurance: Offered through Delta Dental.
- Vision Insurance: Offered through VSP.
