Job Title: Patient Access Representative

Trios Health is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team. As a key member of our Business Office, you will be responsible for registering and pre-registering patients, performing Admit Discharge and Transfer functions, and providing exceptional customer service to patients, physicians, and hospital departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register and pre-register patients according to policies and procedures established by the Business Office and Hospital.
  • Perform Admit Discharge and Transfer functions as required.
  • Provide coverage for Switchboard Operator/Cashier as assigned.
  • Ensure registration/communication work is done in a manner to promote positive relationships with patients, physicians, hospital departments, and visitors.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of medical office or healthcare experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AA degree from a two-year college (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
