Key Responsibilities- Trade Execution: Assist and execute orders for fixed income, derivatives, equity, and exchange-traded options.
- Administrative Support: Review and assist in the implementation of general and administrative issues relevant to the department.
- Account Review: Review all activity for accuracy of account information.
- Order Routing: Ensure correct ticket entry and order routing, maintaining communication with the operations team and resolving any settlement problems.
- Trade Booking: Ensure all trades are booked to the front office position-keeping system on the day they are executed.
- Report Reconciliation: Reconcile daily and/or monthly reports, as assigned.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance monitoring is in place, including processes for management of operational risk, in accordance with Lido Advisors' regulatory standards.
- Trade Reconciliation: Work with Private Client Services to review and reconcile reports to ensure trades have been executed and booked correctly.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market conditions and key indicators to measure the impact on price movements and volumes.
- Liaison Role: Act as a liaison between the internal trading desk and supporting functions such as Investment Operations, Risk, and Compliance, and Technology to resolve issues that may arise.
- Trade Execution: Execute trades within SEC/SRO guidelines and in accordance with the firm's best execution policies, under the supervision of senior staff.
- Administrative Support: Assist in general administrative activity for the team.
- 2+ years of related work experience in the Asset Management or Financial Services Industry.
- Proven project management skills required to assist the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Trading.
- Series 63 or Series 65.
- Must have experience as a Trader or Trading Assistant for equity and/or derivative-related products such as options, swaps, or other over-the-counter securities.
- Strong communication skills required to provide market updates and make presentations to senior members within the Investment Management team.
- Equity middle office and operations experience is a plus but not required.
- Working knowledge of Excel (VBA, Pivot Tables, etc.), Python, or other coding skills are a plus.
