About the Role

We are seeking a Clinical Dietitian to join our team in an acute care medical center in Louisville, KY.

This role is ideal for an experienced dietitian looking to take their career to the next level. As a key member of our nutrition team, you will be responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy to patients, including nutrition assessment, diet modification, education, and intervention.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare teams, and other stakeholders.

The salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide medical nutrition therapy to patients, including nutrition assessment, diet modification, education, and intervention.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans.
  • Conduct regular reviews of patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
Requirements
  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing/Credentialing Board, in states where required.
  • Minimum 1 year of hospital experience, preferably in clinical nutrition.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
