SUNY Upstate Medical University is a leading academic medical center seeking an experienced Executive Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating multiple schedules, including clinic appointments and surgery schedule.

Job Summary:

The Executive Coordinator will handle a variety of administrative tasks, including coordinating with surgical schedulers, handling administrative and clinic matters involving contact with staff, patients, and government agencies. The role also involves answering telephones, screening calls, taking messages, and providing information. Additionally, the Executive Coordinator will facilitate communication between patients and surgeons, maintain open lines of communication, and obtain insurance authorizations and pre-certifications as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess an Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, with at least two years of administrative/office management experience. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $16.00 - $25.88 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Our benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, eligibility for employer 401(k) funding after one year, tuition reimbursement, generous paid time off, including vacation and personal time, paid sick leave, holidays, and floating holidays.
