The Long Beach City College is seeking a highly qualified and experienced chemistry instructor to join our faculty pool. As a part-time faculty member, you will have the opportunity to teach a variety of chemistry courses to a diverse student population.

Responsibilities
  • Teach chemistry courses at the Liberal Arts campus, Pacific Coast campus, or other college teaching locations.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of students with diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
  • Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback to improve student outcomes.
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide committees to contribute to the development of chemistry programs and services.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of chemistry and incorporate new technologies and pedagogies into your teaching practice.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in chemistry or a related field.
  • Experience teaching chemistry courses at the community college level.
  • Expertise in field of course(s) to be taught.
