Role Summary:

At Aerotech, we cultivate the skills of our Mechatronics Technicians through a specialized career development program. Ideal candidates possess a foundational mechanical and electrical aptitude, complemented by a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn. Our training program equips you to build and test sophisticated electromechanical positioning systems that achieve sub-micron accuracy.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections and fit precision-engineered components using a variety of measurement tools, including micrometers, calipers, and laser interferometers.
  • Install linear and rotary bearings, encoder scales, and other precision elements utilizing an array of hand tools.
  • Wire products according to established standards using soldering and crimping techniques.
  • Analyze both tabular and graphical data while interfacing with multiple software applications and precision verification equipment.
  • Engage with diverse mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, adapting to varying tasks each day.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in malfunctioning products, collaborating with colleagues and supervisors to implement effective solutions.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 1 to 5 years of relevant experience or training is preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
