IEW Construction Group is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Data Entry Specialist to join our payroll team. This position is responsible for the weekly processing of company payroll, involving large volumes of data entry on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process weekly payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees
  • Enter new hire information into the payroll system, maintaining up-to-date records
  • Accurately enter data from manual time sheets into the payroll system, adhering to strict deadlines
  • Track and record employee vacation/sick time, ensuring seamless integration with the payroll system
  • Cut payroll checks weekly, managing cash flow effectively
  • Process garnishments and other required payroll deductions, guaranteeing compliance with regulations
  • Process lay-off checks daily, prioritizing efficiency in this critical task
  • Process unemployment paperwork and employment verifications daily, maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Generate reports as needed, providing valuable insights for management
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced professional environment, prioritizing tasks effectively
  • Strong customer service skills, ensuring excellent communication with colleagues and management
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and speed in data entry
  • Experience entering high-volume data and processing payroll, with a proven track record of success
  • Working knowledge of prevailing wage and unions, with a strong understanding of labor laws and regulations
  • High school graduate or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in administrative roles
  • Proficiency in computer software, with a working knowledge of ViewPoint a plus
Benefits:

Additional Information:
