Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team for a travel assignment in Rockingham, North Carolina.
Job SummaryThis is a 13-week contract position with 36 hours of work per week, requiring a 12-hour night shift schedule. The ideal candidate will have experience in computed tomography and a strong understanding of diagnostic imaging principles.
Responsibilities- Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Develop and implement procedures to maintain equipment and ensure optimal imaging quality
- Provide exceptional patient care and communicate effectively with patients and families
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or Computed Tomography
- At least 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a travel or per diem setting
- Strong knowledge of computed tomography principles and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
