Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Sales Producer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with personal lines clients, growing the book of business through new client sales, and providing expert advice on insurance products.

Estimated Salary

$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Acquisition: Identify, qualify, and develop personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients in person, online, by phone, and through written communication.
  • Relationship Building: Foster and maintain excellent relationships with clients and prospects through regular follow-up, accurate and timely quotations, and general account support.
  • Sales and Retention: Actively prospect round accounts, solicit increases in existing client coverage, network for new clients, and support clients for renewal and retention.
  • Policy Management: Obtain best coverage/rate for insured, process quotes, bind insurance coverage, and present policies to insured.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Monitor, review, and report on key metrics to ensure sales targets are achieved.
Qualifications
  • License and Certification: Hold the insurance license required by your state and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products, rating procedures, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations.
  • Sales Experience: Have a proven track record of business-to-business sales success and possess strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
  • Soft Skills: Be people-oriented, customer-focused, and professionally assertive in developing new client relationships and servicing existing clients.
  • Technical Skills: Possess outstanding organizational skills, technology proficiency, and agency management system skills.
