Job Description

Skill Demand Energy is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer/Architect to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data architectures, ensuring data quality, and implementing data governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement complex data architectures, including data modeling and database design, for large-scale systems.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes, data migration, and data transformation.
  • Implement data governance frameworks, including metadata management, data lineage, and data stewardship.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and reliability through data quality management practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in data architecture, healthcare analytics, and medical insurance.
Requirements:
  • At least 7-10 years of experience designing and implementing complex data architectures.
  • Extensive experience with healthcare data, including Medicare, Medicaid, and state healthcare programs.
  • Experience with data governance frameworks, including metadata management, data lineage, and data stewardship.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud data services (AWS, Azure, etc.) and ETL processes.
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing solutions, data lakes, and data lakehouses.
  • Proficiency in ensuring data security, privacy, and access control for sensitive healthcare data.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
