We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated entry-level cable technicians to join our team at a leading data center project in Richmond, VA.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in large-scale cabling projects, working under an exclusive contract to build the cable infrastructure throughout a data center.
Key Responsibilities:- Drop cable down walls using fish tape or other methods and route cable through the data center.
- Perform pre-termination procedures: organize, form, dress cables, determine length, slack, and label cables.
- Suspend and support cable correctly using cable trays, J-hooks, D-rings, bridal rings, and trapeze.
- Install grounding for racks, equipment, and cables as required.
- Perform fire-stopping procedures on fire walls, install sleeves, and pull cable through sleeves and core penetration.
- Terminate low-voltage devices.
- Follow prints and adhere to all company, customer, and industry quality and safety standards and regulations.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
- Punctual and a team player.
- Flexible with working hours.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year.
