About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Retail Customer Service Specialist at Sherwin-Williams. As a key member of our retail stores, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone, determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services
  • Build strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers, driving sales growth and customer loyalty
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistently, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Meet and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
  • Maintain accurate work order files and formulas, ensuring efficient operations
  • Pull and stock products from the sales floor or warehouse, maintaining a clean and organized store environment
  • Tint and mix products as needed, to customer specifications
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products
  • Assist in making deliveries as needed, providing excellent customer service
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas, ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered, discussing available options with customers
  • Comply with inventory control procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management
  • Suggest ways to improve sales and customer service, driving business growth and customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • Have at least a High School diploma or GED
  • Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
  • Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
