Job Summary

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist Level I to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures, communicating with patients, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform basic and intermediate radiographic procedures, including general diagnostic and fluoroscopic exams.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures, obtaining clinical history, and addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Position patients and select exposure factors for various radiologic examinations, ensuring patient safety and radiation protection.
  • Identify patients, label images, and compare requisitions to physician's orders to ensure exam accuracy.
  • Assist and communicate with radiologists, preparing and maintaining records as needed.
  • Perform patient positioning and transporting duties, utilizing proper technique and adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
