POSITION SUMMARY:

A reputable medical facility is actively seeking a dedicated Hematology/Oncology Specialist to join their esteemed Cancer Care Center. This role is designed for a community-focused physician who will provide exceptional care to patients within a supportive environment.

Clinic hours are structured from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with an average patient load of 6-8 daily, primarily consisting of follow-up appointments. There may be rare instances requiring hospital visits.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The compensation package includes comprehensive employee benefits, malpractice insurance coverage, a $50,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and a continuing medical education (CME) allowance.

FACILITY OVERVIEW:


This progressive regional hospital is well-regarded in the community, serving a population of approximately 100,000 with minimal managed care involvement. The facility reports around 30,000 emergency room visits, 4,000 surgical procedures, and 350 deliveries each year.

Equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic technology, including in-house MRI, 64-slice CT scans, and digital mammography, the hospital supports its medical staff effectively. Additionally, the on-campus Radiation/Medical Oncology center, accredited by the Commission on Cancer, offers comprehensive cancer care, including opportunities for clinical trials.
