Program Analyst, Journeyman (FMS ALSS)KBR is in search of a Program Analyst, Journeyman (Foreign Military Sales) to become an integral part of our team. The Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Program Analyst will be pivotal in assisting PMA-202 within the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). This role primarily involves delivering technical knowledge and support in the execution of Foreign Military Sales initiatives, ensuring the effective integration and maintenance of the FMS Aviation Life Support Systems (ALSS).
The Aircrew Systems program office (PMA-202) encompasses all systems that directly aid aircrew and troops or passengers in executing their missions. This includes the functional components, internal and external interfaces, and the environment designed to enhance human performance, protection, and sustainability in aviation operations.
PMA-202 is dedicated to analyzing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions that guarantee warfighters are equipped with aircrew systems that are "Ready to Fight Tonight," throughout all phases of naval aviation, with the capability and capacity to "Win the Future."
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilizes analytical techniques to assess program/project objectives. Evaluates requirements, status, budget, and timelines.
- Conducts management, technical, or business case evaluations.
- Gathers, organizes, and interprets data related to ALSS acquisition and product initiatives.
- Monitors program/project progress and timelines.
- Implements government-mandated processes for documentation, change control management, and data management.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, along with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrates excellent presentation abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and strong organizational skills; capable of assessing, applying, and recommending enhancements to established business processes.
- Ability to prioritize effectively to thrive in a dynamic program office environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook) is required.
- An active secret level security clearance is mandatory.
