Behavioral Intervention Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Intervention Specialist to join our team at The Recovery Center of Kentucky. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to children and adolescents with behavioral challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to clients and small groups
  • Administer one-to-one behavior intervention and support strategies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify best practices for clients
  • Maintain accurate, data-based documentation of client progress
  • Communicate effectively with administration, families, and community partners
  • Participate in client placement discussions and assessments
  • Contribute to program development and implementation
Requirements
  • Trained in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention and de-escalation techniques
  • Experience in mental health services and therapeutic settings
  • Understanding of equitable and culturally responsive practices
Preferred Qualifications
  • Licensed as a Professional Counselor, Social Worker, or Therapist
