Position Overview

Link Solutions, Inc. is currently in search of a Senior Computer Systems Analyst to enhance their team. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the initiatives of the National Science Foundation while ensuring the reliability and security of client IT infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, configure, and oversee operating systems, server hardware, and software applications.
  • Evaluate system performance and address issues proactively.
  • Administer and sustain network infrastructure, which includes routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems.
  • Establish and uphold network security protocols.
  • Deliver technical assistance to end-users, resolving hardware and software challenges.
  • Address and resolve helpdesk inquiries and user-reported issues.
  • Develop and manage backup and recovery strategies.
  • Conduct security assessments and updates to reduce vulnerabilities.
  • Coordinate software updates and patches for servers and workstations.
  • Create and maintain detailed system documentation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Security clearance is mandatory
  • IAT Level II Certification is required
  • Associate's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity and IT systems management.
  • Familiarity with network protocols and operating systems.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's in Software Engineering (PSEM) or Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Exceptional analytical and organizational skills.
