Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to assist our pharmacists in preparing medications, measuring, mixing, counting, labeling, and recording amounts and dosages according to prescription orders.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare medications under the direction of a pharmacist
  • Measure, mix, count-out, label, and record amounts and dosages of medications according to prescription orders
  • Assist pharmacists with patient counseling and medication education
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication preparation and dispensing
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalency required
  • Current Pharmacy Technician certification required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
