This is an exciting opportunity to join ITT Inc. as a Global Supply Chain Co-op, where you will have the chance to work with a top-ranked pump brand and gain valuable experience in supply chain strategy development and execution.
Key Responsibilities- Provide oversight for category-critical tasks, including business continuity planning and supplier performance management.
- Work with the category manager to be the focal point for Indirect Services requests for the Industrial Process value center.
- Quoting parts, calling suppliers, and building relationships with stakeholders.
- Track spend/usage, analyze, and propose improvements.
- Create and maintain a sourcing list for indirect purchases.
- Help establish metrics to analyze and rank vendors within their respective product category.
- Identify value creation opportunities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Currently enrolled as a student at an accredited college and pursuing a business-related degree.
- Excellent ability to analyze, model, and interpret large data with a methodical and logical approach.
- Excellent strategic and analytical thinking.
- Effective organizational and project management skills to meet deadlines while dealing with multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with all levels of the organization, customers, and partners.
- Good knowledge/experience in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
