Job Title:Executive Chef
Company Overview:The Informalist, a renowned restaurant under ECWI Hospitality's management, is seeking an exceptional Executive Chef to craft memorable dining experiences for its guests. With a focus on innovation and quality, the successful candidate will lead a team of culinary experts to deliver exceptional food while ensuring health and safety standards are met.Compensation:$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Select, train, and develop high-performing kitchen staff that align with the business culture.
  • Create unique menu items and specials by combining diverse ingredients in creative ways.
  • Mentor team members, track performance objectives, and provide guidance to foster efficiency in the kitchen.
  • Oversee department expenses, including food, supplies, uniforms, equipment, and negotiate with vendors to obtain high-quality products at competitive prices.
  • Coordinate all kitchen food preparation, including processes, portioning, garnishing, and present meals elegantly.
Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 7-8 years of culinary experience.
  • Familiarity with kitchen safety and food storage regulations.
