Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography (CT) to join our team at A-Line Staffing Solutions. In this role, you will perform computerized tomographic procedures and support diagnostic radiology examinations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Explain examination procedures to patients and prepare them for CT scans.
  • Review clinical data and patient medical history to perform appropriate examinations.
  • Prepare procedure rooms and ensure availability of necessary supplies.
  • Analyze patient anatomy, set up equipment, and conduct CT scans.
  • Administer intravenous contrast media and monitor patients for reactions.
  • Assist Radiologists with complex procedures, such as biopsies.
  • Ensure adherence to radiation protection principles and maintain image quality in PACS and RIS.
  • Document all procedures accurately in medical records and the radiology information system.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and teamwork standards.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • Certifications: BLS certification; must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and have an advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or be registry-eligible.
  • Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills; ability to handle a fast-paced work environment.
Physical Demands:
  • May involve exposure to radiation and high-voltage equipment; proper safety precautions must be followed.
  • Occasional lifting or moving of equipment and patients over 10 lbs.
