Job Summary

This position provides administrative and technical program support to the Licensure Bureau for all healthcare and child care facilities and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and reviewing the initial and renewal processes for licensed and registered providers, providing technical assistance to providers and consumers of child care facilities and services, and assisting in developing policies and procedures related to licensure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Licensure Bureau, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to licensure.
  • Provide technical assistance to providers and consumers of child care facilities and services.
  • Oversee and review the initial and renewal processes for licensed and registered providers.
  • Assist in the coordination of training and professional development opportunities for providers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as early childhood education, social work, or public administration.
  • One to two years of experience in a related field, such as child care licensing, early childhood education, or social work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
