CSE, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled MQ-9 Pilot SME to join our team. As a key member of our aviation safety team, you will provide technical assistance and support to the Air Force Safety Center, Aviation Safety Divisions (HQ AFSEC/SEF) in the areas of MQ-9 safety and operations.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Support Safety Investigation Boards (SIBs) by coordinating technical assistance and providing feedback on SIB narratives, findings, and recommendations.
  • Assist with research, data mining, and identifying possible mishap root causes for SIBs using Air Force Safety Automated System (AFSAS) historical data.
  • Review AFSAS and other mishap databases for accuracy of safety event data and recommend corrections when needed.
  • Perform quality control assessments on RPA and other aviation safety reports to ensure compliance with AFI and AFMAN requirements.
  • Collaborate with government and industry experts on RPA and other aviation safety maintenance and operations.
  • Provide RPA and aviation safety support for Military Flight Operations Quality Assurance (MFOQA), Airman Safety Action Program (ASAP), Line Operations Safety Audit (LOSA), and other proactive safety programs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of six years piloting either the MQ-1 or MQ-9.
  • Current or previous qualification as an instructor in the MQ-1 or MQ-9.
  • Travel 10% for conferences.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • Must be a United States Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Qualified with launch and recovery.
  • Experience working with USAF Safety Investigation Boards.
  • Experience with the USAF safety recommendation process.
