Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Associate to join our team at Northwell Health. As a Patient Care Associate, you will provide direct care to patients, perform various clinical tasks, and contribute to a safe and therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, activities of daily living, and specimen collection.
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes, and establish good interpersonal relationships with families and hospital staff.
  • Report vital information to the healthcare team and convey necessary information to patients and visitors.
  • Perform delegated patient care procedures, including phlebotomy, EKG, and telemetry.
  • Use clinical knowledge to care for patients based on diagnoses and unit assignments.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior relevant experience required.
Compensation

The salary range for this position is $25.45-$26.79/hour.
