Position Overview:
As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will foster meaningful connections with patients, ensuring their needs are met through safe, precise, and effective care to optimize outcomes for patients, team members, and the organization.

This role encompasses all necessary tasks to guarantee the accurate and efficient processing of central fill patient orders.


Qualifications:
Experience Required:
0 to 6 months

Desired Skills:
Proficient problem-solving and time management abilities

Educational Background:
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy

Licensing Requirements:
Valid Pharmacy License; Immunization Certification/License as mandated by state; Current CPR Certification

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds


Key Responsibilities:
  • Stay informed about the latest medications, therapies, and advancements in the pharmaceutical field.
  • Comply with all organizational, state, and federal regulations, including HIPAA guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with external partners such as physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and vendors.
  • Meet production standards and uphold quality expectations set by management.
  • Provide training and mentorship to newly hired team members.
  • Administer immunizations as required.
  • Foster a positive work atmosphere for all colleagues.
  • Ensure the accurate replenishment of medication in system canisters.
  • Exemplify outstanding patient care practices.
  • Verify the accuracy of filled prescriptions in accordance with company quality assurance protocols.
  • Conduct quality checks on all prescriptions to guarantee the correct medication and durable medical equipment are dispensed.
  • Address and resolve any prescription order discrepancies as needed.
  • Facilitate the transfer of incoming and outgoing prescriptions.
  • Assist the Team Leader in managing inventory and ordering supplies.
  • Maintain a clean and sterile work environment to comply with all relevant regulations.
  • Perform duties of Pharmacy Manager and technician as necessary.
  • Support technicians in understanding prescriptions and third-party billing processes.
  • Complete required documentation and possess knowledge of the audit process.
  • Achieve production metrics and operational objectives.
  • Participate in quarterly Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) meetings.
