Position Overview
As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will foster relationships with patients, ensuring their needs are met through safe, precise, and effective care to optimize outcomes for patients, team members, and the organization.
This role entails executing all necessary tasks to guarantee the accurate and efficient dispensing of all central fill patient prescriptions.

Experience Required:
0 to 6 months

Proficient problem-solving and time management abilities
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s Degree
Licensing Requirements:
Valid Pharmacy License; Immunization Certification/License as mandated by state; Current CPR Certification
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stay informed about new medications, therapies, and advancements in the pharmaceutical field.
- Comply with all company, state, and federal regulations, including HIPAA.
- Continuously develop professional relationships with external partners such as physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and vendors.
- Meet production targets and uphold quality standards as established by management.
- Train and guide new staff members upon their hiring.
- Administer immunizations as required.
- Foster a positive work atmosphere for all colleagues.
- Ensure accurate replenishment of medication canisters within the system.
- Exemplify outstanding patient care.
- Verify the accuracy of all filled prescriptions following company quality assurance protocols.
- Conduct quality checks on prescriptions to confirm correct medication and durable medical equipment dispensing.
- Address and resolve any prescription order discrepancies as needed.
- Facilitate incoming and outgoing prescription transfers.
- Assist the Team Leader in managing inventory and ordering supplies.
- Maintain a clean and sterile work environment in compliance with all regulations.
- Perform duties of Pharmacy Manager and technician as necessary.
- Support technicians in interpreting prescriptions and navigating third-party billing.
- Complete required documentation and understand the audit process.
- Achieve production metrics and operational objectives.
- Participate in quarterly Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) meetings.
