Job Overview

This position will serve as a per diem Registered Nurse, providing medical management services to inmates at the Pine Hills Correctional Facility.

Responsibilities
  • Provide initial screening/assessment, triage, and referral services to inmates.
  • Conduct daily sick calls, administer medications, and provide med-surge, psych, and urgent/emergent care.
  • Develop and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide chronic care, infection control, and discharge planning services.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, providing round-the-clock care to patients.
  • Perform physical demands of the job, including walking, bending, kneeling, stretching, and standing.
  • Follow proper body mechanics and procedures for lifting/moving patients.
  • Accept the fundamental mission of a correctional facility, prioritizing public safety and security.
Requirements
  • A college degree in Nursing.
  • Licensed to practice as an RN in the state of Montana.
