About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Billings Clinic in Miles City. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging services in the specialty of Ultrasound.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a variety of equipment to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Provide exposure in the field of Ultrasound to Radiologic Technologist program students and may provide instruction to Ultrasound interns.
  • Interview patients, explain examination procedures, and assist in positioning the patient for procedures.
  • Review test results with radiologists and referring physicians.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a diagnostic medical sonography program or equivalent experience.
  • Current registration with ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) or meets the requirements as a candidate to sit for the ARDMS boards.
  • Board registry in physics and Abdomen, and/or OB/GYN or echocardiography as appropriate to department/service needs.
  • Fundamental understanding of doppler physics.
  • Current Health Care Provider CPR Certification.
