Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Medical Device Systems Engineer to lead our efforts in creating system-level concepts for new project proposals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in complex electro-mechanical instrument systems engineering and hardware/software integration experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop system-level concepts for new project proposals and review/critique concepts created by others
  • Prepare Systems Engineering cost and schedule estimates on major design development efforts
  • Plan and lead experiments to evaluate operating characteristics of products or processes
  • Support System Integration, Verification and Validation activities
  • Oversee the development of requirements for different disciplines such as Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Electro-optics, and others
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 5 years of complex electro-mechanical instrument systems engineering experience
  • Hardware/software integration experience
  • Daily onsite presence required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Engineering
  • Medical Device experience
  • Extensive development experience in software, mechanical, electrical, optics, fluidics, and other engineering disciplines
Compensation and Benefits

Elbit Systems of America offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off, robust medical, dental, vision, and disability coverage, basic life insurance, flexible vacation and PTO, hybrid or remote work options, paid parental leave, generous employee referral program, and voluntary benefits available.
