Recreation Therapist

As a Recreation Assistant 2 at LifeBridge Health, you will play a vital role in providing a continuum of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcome-based leisure activities designed to meet the physical, cultural, spiritual, social, cognitive/intellectual, emotional, and creative needs and interests of assigned residents.

• Assist in developing and implementing leisure activities that promote resident engagement and well-being
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify resident needs and preferences
• Provide guidance and support to residents in accessing and participating in leisure activities
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to ensure the effectiveness of leisure activities
• Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and vendors to enhance leisure activities

• High School diploma or equivalent required; 1-3 years of experience in a related field preferred
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
