Job Summary

This position is located in the Medical Imaging Department at the White Earth Health Center and the Naytahwaush Clinic. The selected individual will be responsible for the administrative and technical direction of the Medical Imaging Services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs a variety of diagnostic radiology and computer tomography examinations ranging from routine to complex.
  • Responsible for maintaining the computed tomography department for regulatory standards and accreditation purposes.
  • Primary responsible for support of electronic data communication services between the facility information system, the radiology information system and the PACS.
  • Assures the work assignments are carried out. Distributes and balances the workload among employees, assures timely completion of assignments.
Requirements
  • Must pass pre-employment examination.
  • Selectee may be subject to a probationary period.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
Working Conditions

This position requires occasional travel. The selected individual will be required to obtain and maintain medical staff clinical privileges, including any licensure requirements.

Federal Employees earn annual leave at a rate (4, 6 or 8 hours per pay period) which is based on the number of years they have served as a Federal employee.
