Key Responsibilities of an EQS Equipment Reconditioning Specialist:
  • Evaluate the overall state of corporate machinery
  • Restore used or damaged equipment for company re-utilization
  • Set up and install additional equipment and aftermarket components
  • Prepare machinery for disposal
  • Coordinate with Sales Centers, supervisors, and technicians regarding shipping updates
  • Diagnose equipment issues and execute repairs
  • Create parts requisitions and manage inventory
  • Reconstruct and fix parts and machinery
  • Maintain a tidy and secure work environment
  • Adhere to all regulations, policies, and procedures
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Mechanical proficiency
  • Electrical troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Capacity for critical decision-making
  • Enthusiasm for assigned tasks and projects

Educational Background and Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED is mandatory
  • 1-3 years of general work experience is preferred
  • Proven mechanical, technical, and electrical skills
  • Forklift certification is a plus

Training Requirements:

  • Ongoing education and training on emerging technologies
  • Company Forklift Training
  • New Hire Orientation

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs on a daily basis
  • Capability to stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to work in diverse environments

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

  • Hearing protection, hard hats, and safety glasses are provided by the company

Work Environment:

  • Moderately noisy atmosphere due to manufacturing operations
