Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess the overall condition of corporate equipment and determine the necessary reconditioning or repair work.
  • Recondition used or damaged equipment for company reuse, ensuring it meets quality and safety standards.
  • Prepare and install ancillary equipment and aftermarket items, such as cashless devices.
  • Prepare equipment for disposal, following company guidelines and regulations.
  • Utilize forklifts and other warehouse equipment to access, relocate, and transfer equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Communicate with sales centers, supervisors, and technicians regarding shipping status and equipment availability.
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems, perform repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Generate parts requests to ensure adequate inventory for reconditioning equipment.
  • Maintain and complete required paperwork, such as work tickets and parts lists.
  • Rebuild and repair parts and equipment, adhering to company standards and quality control procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to company safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of general work experience, preferably in a technical or industrial setting.
  • General plumbing and technical experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated mechanical, technical, and electrical aptitude.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Previous experience in a high-speed industrial environment preferred.
Training and Development:
  • Continuing education to maintain any certifications held and a current working knowledge of new technologies related to our business.
  • Applicable online training.
  • Company's Forklift Training.
  • New Hire Orientation.
  • Company's Interactive Safety Training and other safety training as required.
  • Annual Alcohol and Drug-Free Workplace Training.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting on a daily basis, with a maximum weight of 75 lbs.
  • Ability to work standing for long periods, with regular breaks.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoors.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
  • The company provides hearing protection, hard hats, and safety glasses.
Work Environment:
  • The work environment can be moderately noisy due to manufacturing and/or warehousing equipment in operation.
