Key Responsibilities:
- Teach nursing classes to students at various levels of academic preparation
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with industry standards and best practices
- Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback to promote academic success
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching methods
- Stay current with industry developments and advancements in nursing education
Requirements:
- Current unrestricted RN license in Virginia
- Minimum of Bachelor's in Nursing from an accredited college
- Demonstrated excellence in oral and written communication, and effective communication in teaching/learning situations
- Fairness and flexibility in understanding and working with a wide variety of students
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative manner in a team-oriented environment
