Job Title: Staff Psychiatrist

At UHS, we are committed to providing high-quality patient care and exceptional service. As a Staff Psychiatrist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the medical and psychiatric aspects of patient care are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial and continued assessments of patients to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with the Unit Medical Director to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in the admission process and provide medical and psychiatric evaluations as needed.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts and records.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to patient care.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Medicine with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
  • Completion of psychiatric residency training.
  • Board certification or eligibility for Board Certification in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry or Neurology or the American Osteopathic Board of Psychiatry.
