Job Summary:

Planet Healthcare is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team for a travel healthcare position in Bangor, Maine. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment
  • Prepare and administer radioactive materials to patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient procedures and results

Requirements:

  • Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Registered Technologist (ARRT)
  • 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
