Job Summary

Cook County is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as the Bargaining Policy Unit Supervisor. This key leadership role oversees the work of the Bargaining & Policy unit, ensuring effective distribution of work and task management for Labor Officers. The successful candidate will supervise Labor Liaison Officers, provide support for Senior Labor Liaison Officers, and coordinate workflow to ensure timely completion of projects and assignments.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervise Labor Liaison Officers and provide support for Senior Labor Liaison Officers.
  • Coordinate and direct the workflow of the Bargaining & Policy Unit to ensure proper distribution of work.
  • Review and manage Labor Officer assignments and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage at various work sites.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in labor relations and collective bargaining. A bachelor's degree in a related field is required, and a master's degree is preferred. The salary for this position is approximately $107,705 per year, offering a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development in Cook County Government.
