Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our store operations and drive business growth. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily execution of our store operating system, managing a team of employees, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a culture of safety and excellence within the store, ensuring a clean, organized, and safe environment for employees and customers.
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for customers and employees, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
  • Oversee the daily execution of our store operating system, including management of game plans and delivery of a consistent customer experience.
  • Grow top-line revenue and control key financial metrics, understanding reports and their impact on sales, and developing plans to correct budget misses.
  • Manage inventory levels, track and submit accurate orders, and maintain par levels for a consistent and craveable offering.
  • Delegate tasks to subordinate employees, follow up on their completion, and ensure proper execution.
  • Engage and lead company initiatives, promoting sales and profits within the local community.
  • Oversee food production, ensuring food safety requirements are consistently met, and par levels are maintained for a consistent and craveable offering.
  • Develop well-trained employees by following our training processes, demonstrating and teaching our core values, and supporting career growth.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and schedule employees to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts, complying with meal and rest break requirements.
  • Train and empower employees to de-escalate customer service issues.
  • Communicate with employees in a positive manner, motivating and inspiring them to act in accordance with our Plan to Win strategy.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, taking immediate and appropriate action, and maintaining records of all inspections and necessary documents.
Requirements
  • Minimum three years of single-unit management experience in retail and/or food and beverage industries.
  • Experience with applications such as PeopleMatter, Workday, Reflexis, PDI, and ESO is a plus.
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (preferred).
  • Food Safety and Handling Certifications are preferred, but the ability to obtain one is required.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to climb a ladder to clean windows, stock shelves, make price changes, etc.
  • Daily standing, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, squatting, climbing, walking, and lifting up to 55 pounds are required.
  • Occasional sitting and driving are required.
  • Exposed to extreme weather conditions and temperatures.
  • Long periods of standing.
  • Exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
