Job Summary

Lake Granbury Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg Department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans.
  • Assess and plan care for patients, intervening as necessary and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Implement safety and infection control measures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  • Continuously educate patients and families on health and wellness, promoting a culture of health and prevention.
  • Maintain continuity of care with all departments, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Nursing or higher.
  • Current certification as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
  • One year of experience as a clinical nurse or completion of an RN residency program.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI training or completion within six months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Previous experience in Cardiac, Renal, Neuro, and/or telemetry care.
Work Environment

Our Med/Surg Department is a 17-bed unit that focuses on Cardiac, Renal, and Neuro patients. As a Registered Nurse on this unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to a dynamic and supportive team environment.
