Job Overview

The Media Analytics Department at NEC Labs America is seeking a highly motivated PhD student to join our research team as a research intern in Summer 2025. Our research group focuses on advancing the field of computer vision and machine learning, with a strong emphasis on creative directions and high-impact applications.

This internship provides an excellent opportunity for outstanding PhD students to work closely with our research team, explore innovative ideas, and develop cutting-edge skills in computer vision and machine learning.

As a research intern, you will have the chance to work on exciting projects that align with your interests and goals. Our research output is regularly published at top-tier venues such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, and NeurIPS. Recent examples include:

• LidaRF: Lidar Neural Radiance Fields on Street Scenes (CVPR 2024)
• AIDE: Automatic Data Engine for Object Detection in Autonomous Driving (CVPR 2024)

Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for PhD students with a strong research background in computer vision or machine learning, experience with Pytorch or Tensorflow, and a passion for advancing the field of computer vision. The ideal candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to collaborate effectively with the research team, and have a proven track record of producing high-quality research outputs.
