Low Voltage Technician

Descripción del Puesto:

Como Técnico de Baja Tensión, serás responsable de extraer, probar y conectar cables de cobre y/o fibra óptica en un entorno de construcción. El Grupo de Soluciones de Instalaciones es un proveedor líder de soluciones de baja tensión y busca individuos con mentalidad de carrera a largo plazo para unirse a nuestro equipo en crecimiento en Houston, Texas.

Responsabilidades:

  • Extraer, probar y conectar cables CAT5e/6a en un entorno comercial.
  • Instalar estructuras de soporte como ganchos, asientos, ganchos y bandejas de cables.
  • Operar herramientas manuales, herramientas de poder, escaleras y equipo de prueba.
  • Etiquetar cables de manera ordenada y limpia.
  • Probar cada cable nuevo o reubicado de acuerdo con los procedimientos establecidos.
  • Mantener los cables atados y empaquetados de manera segura y mantener los estándares de seguridad.
  • Desarrollar conocimientos en profundidad de los Códigos de Construcción Nacionales y estándares.
  • Registrar el tiempo y los materiales utilizados.
  • Ayudar a otros miembros del equipo con la instalación y el mantenimiento.
  • Proporcionar respuestas a los clientes identificando problemas, investigando respuestas, guiando a los clientes a través de pasos correctivos.
  • Investigar la información requerida utilizando recursos disponibles.
  • Estar dispuesto a trabajar en cualquier turno (días, noches o fines de semana si es necesario).
  • Capacidad para trabajar en diferentes entornos, incluyendo exteriores en diferentes grados de clima, trabajando a alturas y en espacios confinados.

Requisitos:

  • Al menos seis (6) meses de experiencia en la instalación de cables de baja tensión y/o dispositivos en un entorno de construcción comercial.
  • Título de bachillerato o equivalente.
  • Licencia de conducir válida y transporte confiable.
  • Deberá poder pasar una prueba de drogas y antecedentes.
  • La capacitación de fabricante es un plus (CommScope, Panduit, etc.).
  • OSHA preferido.

Compensación:

USD $17.00 - USD $28.00 /Hr.
