Providence Health & Services is seeking a skilled RN - PACU to join our team at Providence Medford Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the PACU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association certification within 90 days of hire.
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association certification within 90 days of hire.
- 1 year of nursing experience.
- National Certification in area of specialty.
