Responsibilities

  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures
  • Position patients for optimal image quality and safety
  • Administer contrast media as required
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and images

Requirements

  • ARRT (CT) certification
  • BLS certification
  • Strong experience with GE and Meditech systems
  • Preferred: RT (T), ASRT certification

Work Environment

HCA Florida Aventura Hospital is a 408-bed acute care hospital located in Aventura, Florida. Our hospital features state-of-the-art technology, including a new 1.2 million dollar computed tomography scanner. We are a certified comprehensive stroke center and have received the American Heart Gold Plus Achievement Award.
