Adjunct Faculty Opportunity in Kinesiology

William Paterson University is seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach and mentor students in the Department of Kinesiology. As a member of our faculty, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Exercise Physiology, Physical Education, Sport Management, Sports Medicine, Athletic Training, and Sport Administration.

  • Kinesiology students have access to state-of-the-art labs, including the Human Performance Lab, the Human Motion Analysis Lab, and the Motor Behavior Lab.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop relevant syllabi and deploy course content, objectives, and methods of student assessment.
  • Contribute to student success by providing consistent and effective support and being available to students for their questions and needs.
  • Teach in person and/or online depending upon course schedules and department needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline to the Kinesiology undergraduate major (Exercise Physiology, Physical Education, Sport Management, and Sports Medicine).
  • Full-time or part-time employment in an area related to the Kinesiology undergraduate major.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification and/or continuing professional education relevant to the kinesiology discipline.
  • Experience teaching both online and in person courses.
