About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled M-5 Tech to join our team at Brink's. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Bank Note Processing System (BPS/M-5).

Key Responsibilities
  • System Understanding: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the BPS/M-5 system, including its functions, modules, and components.
  • Currency Preparation: Prepare currency for processing, including header card use and consumable loading.
  • System Maintenance: Perform daily cleaning of the transport and NotaTracc, as well as complete daily preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Error Resolution: Respond to error messages and faults, and resolve them in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Performance Optimization: Reposition belts, guides, and adjust the banknote feeder for optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify simple faults, complete troubleshooting, and resolve problems.
  • Bank Note Jam Recovery: Resolve bank note jam recoveries while processing.
  • Production Goals: Use high-speed BPS/M-5 to achieve daily production goals.
  • Supervision and Guidance: Follow any direction provided by supervisor and/or manager.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned, including guarding liability and assets.
