Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control Clerk to join our team at American Metals Supply LLC. Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update inventory records within our warehouse management system.
  • Perform daily activities necessary to maintain effective inventory management procedures.
  • Ensure location accuracy in our computer system.
  • Track inventory within our warehouse management system.
  • Identify and report slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
  • Reconcile inventories within our inventory management system and adjust when necessary.
  • Recommend programs to improve the management of inventory.
  • Conduct searches to locate products within our system.
  • Ensure corrective measures to prevent discrepancies.
  • Perform weekly cycle counts and adjust systems as necessary.
  • Develop reports and documentation to facilitate accurate inventory counts.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • At least 1 year's experience in inventory control.
  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite a plus.
  • Computer applications experience using MS Office.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Working Conditions
  • Must be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature variation.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to operate a forklift.
  • Must have no issues with heights.
  • Lift and move product up to 80 pounds.
  • Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
