Quality Manager Job Description

At Double H Plastics, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager to lead our Quality Department and ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Quality Department, ensuring that all quality systems and processes are in place and functioning effectively.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure that all products meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to Quality Department staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Communication: Communicate quality metrics and performance to all levels of the organization, including senior management, production staff, and customers.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent (college degree preferred)
  • Experience: 3+ years in a Quality role, preferably with a history of growth and promotion
  • Skills: Strong Excel skills, experience with MINI-TAB and/or SQC Pack, 5-Why or Fishbone Root Cause Analysis, and strong written and oral communication skills
