  • Coordinate with field personnel on training initiatives and communicate with dealership staff regarding training needs.
  • Advise Service Managers on the benefits of technical training for their teams.

Qualifications:

  • In-depth technical knowledge of automotive components and systems.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including a start time of 11:30 AM EST for part of the schedule.
  • Proficient in using advanced diagnostic tools such as scan tools and lab scopes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with diverse personality types.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the capability to engage in independent study to stay current with industry advancements.
  • Familiarity with office software, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with online presentation tools like Zoom or Adobe Connect is advantageous.
  • A degree in a relevant field is preferred, but substantial experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a technician, preferably in a dealership setting.
  • Teaching experience in automotive subjects is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as required, up to 30% of the time.

Adherence to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment, is essential when working in specific environments. The role may require physical activities such as standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
